Deer Hill Care Home started out as the dream of Liza Ignatius, who wanted to provide quality care to seniors.  Along with the help of her son, Jovy, and his wife, Naveen, this dream become a reality.  Each brought his or her strengths and educational background in designing and managing the care home; Liza is a registered nurse, Jovy has a business background, and Naveen is a social worker.  Since DHCH first opened its doors in 2002, Liza, Jovy, Naveen, and their dedicated staff, have helped dozens of families navigate through the stress of placing their aging parent in a care facility.  And it gives them great joy and personal reward knowing that their compassion and hard work has transformed into a care home that offers a safe and caring place for aging seniors to live their life with dignity and respect.

 

In the years to follow, the Ignatius Family's dream grew to include two more residential care homes for the elderly, also in Lafayette, California.  Hidden Valley Care Home (license #075601073) opened in 2003 and Huston Care Home (license #075601189) opened in 2005.  Both of these care homes also have six private bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and are conveniently located near major highways.
